Independent · Amazon-funded · Value first

Value golf gear, chosen the honest way.

Trusted, independent picks that get you about 90% of the performance for a fraction of the price. Balls first — because that's where value hides.

Units we claim to have lab-tested

Everyone in golf gear implies they lab-tested twenty balls. We haven't tested any in a lab, and we say so — instead we compile the published specs, do the cost-per-round math, and cite the independent robot data by name.

Where the value is

Start with the money pages

The flagship value guide for each category — top pick, live price and a buy link right here. Open any one for the full ranking and the reasoning.

Everything we cover

Five categories, one rule: spend where it matters

The difference

What we do that the others don't

Prices that are actually live

Every price comes from Amazon's API and is stamped with the date we checked it. If our data is more than 48 hours old, the number disappears and the button says "Check price" instead. It never shows you a stale figure — not one competitor in value golf does this.

We publish the rubric

Every score is broken into named metrics, and our methodology page explains exactly what each one means. Nobody else in this space tells you what their number is made of.

We tell you where NOT to spend

"Spend where it matters" cuts both ways. We'll tell you when a $25 ball beats a $50 one for your game, and when a premium club is worth it — even though the expensive pick pays us more.

We do not run a testing lab

And we won't write "in our testing" as though we do. We compile published specs, do the cost math, cite other people's robot data by name, and say plainly when we couldn't verify something.

How this is funded

We earn a commission. Here's exactly how that works.

Club & Carry is funded by the Amazon Associates program. When you buy through one of our links we earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. No brand pays us for placement, no manufacturer sends us gear, and no commission rate has ever changed a ranking — which is why you'll find a $25 ball ranked above a $50 one, and last year's driver recommended over this year's, all over this site.
